Sugaright! Best in Baking Winner!
Together with Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery, The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), announced that Sugaright has been selected as a 2022 BEST IN BAKING winner. Top honors and qualifiers will be recognized and celebrated during the triennial trade show Sept. 18–21, 2022 in Las Vegas.
Launched in 2010, the BEST in Baking was originally developed to recognize suppliers who demonstrated a commitment to sustainability. This prestigious program demonstrates IBIE’s commitment to recognizing leadership within the industry and its dedication to supporting the growth and wellbeing of talented suppliers and bakers around the world.
The awards program honors suppliers and bakeries committed to excellence in the industry’s most paramount topics—from sustainability and supply chain innovation to workforce development and automation.
The SUSTAINABILITY award recognizes suppliers that improve efficiency, reduce energy use, reduce environmental impact, and/or otherwise brings notable sustainability to the baking industry.
Our submission entitled “Clean Label, Natural, Non-GMO” met the criteria for excellence in this category. Our 350L Liquid Sucrose has replaced light color liquid sugar to become the new standard for the baking industry when innovative bakers realized that higher color liquid sugar could be used in almost all bakery applications with no negative impact on finished product quality. Less processing means less energy, less water and less waste. Additionally, our system of micro-refineries located close to our customers reduces truck miles and GHG emissions.
Top Honors and qualifiers will be showcased in the BEST in Baking Lounge located in the Grand Concourse of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Sustainability Award Ceremony will be held on Tuesday morning of the Expo.
