September is Food Safety Education Month. Sugaright is proud to announce that all 6 manufacturing plants scored “Excellent” on their recent SQF recertifications (average score of 96.83%).
SQF Version 8.1 incorporates food safety and food quality assessments in the scoring, and our consistency of excellent scores in all locations puts us in the top 10% of food manufacturers with 5 or more locations.
Justin Waldrep, VP of Quality Assurance stated, “This is the 7th consecutive year of excellent scores in all 6 facilities, and it demonstrates the total commitment to excellence by our production team, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our employees are the foundation of our food safety and food quality programs. Our customers can take comfort in seeing the continuation of our excellent scores.”
