Sugaright Speaking at Food and Beverage Environmental Conference (FBEC 2023)

Sugaright will be presenting “Sustainable Cane Sugar Refining from Farm to Factory: It Takes a Village” during a session on Sustainability.

FBEC is the premier and most comprehensive environmental event for the food and beverage industry in the United States. This event discovers the latest trends and innovations affecting water reuse, supply chain challenges, air quality and many more.

Diane Stevenson, Sugaright Director of Sustainability and Food Technology, will be giving an overview of:

  • ·How sugar used in food and beverage products makes its way from the farm to the factory,

  • ·Environmental risks and mitigation in the supply chain

  • ·What sustainability efforts look like to minimize environmental impact (think transportation, supply chain, exploring less intensive refining processes), and

  • ·Hear case studies and examples of others on this sustainability journey.

The conference encourages frank and engaging discussions about environmental challenges specific to the food and beverage industry. Real experiences, best practices, and lessons learned are shared to drive improvement across the industry. The Sugaright Engineering team will also be present to learn from others and to share our industry knowledge.

Sugaright is honored to be present to inspire and to be inspired by others.

We hope to see you there!
